Course Description
This session will illustrate how Freescale development tools can help port sophisticated animations created on your desktop computer to the powerful, cost-effective MPC5606S family of devices. The session will discuss the architecture and basic animation properties of the microcontroller, and use a series of examples to show how these can be combined to produce complex interactive animations usable in an automotive cluster or information system.

What You'll Learn
- Identify the challenges when integrating TFT graphic displays in your application.
- Describe how the MPC5606S Display Control Unit provides detailed control of the appearance of color graphics on a TFT panel without the use of a dedicated graphics buffer to design compelling animations with lower CPU overhead.
- Understand how Freescale's upcoming animation library simplifies the implementation of animations through the use of professional tools in a desktop environment which are easily recreated on the MCU.
