Whether fuel-cell cars, MP3 players or netbooks, energy conservation is critical for machines that we use every day, especially portable electronic devices that can drain a battery quickly. Power management is one of the top technical issues that manufacturers and designers face. Our solution is to work smarter, not harder.

Freescale's power management and user interface (PMUI) ICs provide coordinated power sequencing, low-consumption standby modes and seamless power switching in smart mobile devices. These highly integrated ICs allow OEMs to replace up to seven separate ICs with one powerful power management system, saving cost and valuable board space.
