Freescale's digital (I2C/SPI) and analog power-select acceleration sensors are designed to detect on one, two or three axes, allowing your end application the freedom of movement detection it needs. In addition, for multifunctional applications, these devices allow you to select between 1.5g to 12g levels of acceleration. Freescale accelerometers have a fast response time, low current consumption, low voltage operation and a standby mode all in a small profile package to detect orientation, shake, tap, double tap, fall, tilt, motion, positioning, shock or vibration.

Freescale offers the Sensor Toolbox that provides a customizable selection of sensor development tools, accessories and software from Freescale's portfolio of acceleration sensors which enrich designs with a broad range of capabilities in detecting real-world conditions.
