The Touch Panel System using the MC33794 E-field Sensor is a development platform for the MC33794 E-field sensor and MC68HC908QB8 low cost 8-bit microcontroller. Touch Panel System also supports MC33993, Multiple Switch Detection Interface.
Based on the MC33794 E-Field sensor, this reference design detects human presence through glass or other dielectric materials. User interface consists of an audio transducer (piezoelectric horn), two seven segments displays and six general purpose LED’s. The MC33993 Multiple Switch Detection Interface is used to drive both displays and LED’s.
