Android operating system (OS) brings features and flexibility that address many of the challenges for embedded applications. The MPC8536-ADK is a hardware and software platform for design engineers to quickly evaluate Android bytecode operation on the MPC8536E. The MPC8536-ADK platform is preconfigured with Android, Dalvik and demonstration applications. In addition, the MPC8536-ADK platform is shipped with the source code, tool chain and instructions to rebuild the Android run-time environment.
