The MCF547x microprocessors are based on the V4e ColdFire Core and features multiple connectivity peripherals including two Ethernet,PCI and other serial interfaces. In addition,this device offers an encryption accelerator for secure communications in network connected control applications. The MCF547x Family is pin compatible with MCF548X family of microprocessors offering scalability and flexibility for designs that need to evolve over time.
