The M5484LITE Linux development kit provides everything required to quickly develop an embedded Linux design with the MCF548x processor family. The kit contains a system-on-module, called a Fire Engine, containing 64 MBytes of DDR-SDRAM, 4 MB of Boot Flash,and a USB Device output. The Fire Engine module, along with the included ethernet ports, PCI slot, serial interface, CAN interface, and the best-in-class ColdFire debug module generates a complete package to enable quick design support for the MCF548X Family Processors. The kit software includes the Linux v2.4.26 Kernel, Core Tools, Open Source Compiler along with Serial, I²C, DSPI, Ethernet, USB, and PCI drivers.
