The M5272C3 evaluation board provides an excellent vehicle for embarking on a high-performance embedded design. With 4 MBytes of SDRAM, 2 MByte of Flash, 10/100 BaseT ethernet connectivity, two serial ports, available expansion of 512 KByte SRAM for high-speed critical code or benchmarking, USB device port and access to the best-in-class ColdFire debug module. This complete package includes all the components for realizing an MCF5272 design quickly and easily.

- MCF5272 processor running at 66 MHz internal
- Monitor/Debugger programmed on 2 MByte of FLASH with 1.7 MBytes of FLASH available for customer use
- 4 MBytes of SDRAM
- Integrated 10/100 BaseT ethernet connectivity via RJ-45 connector
- 1 channel DMA
- USB device mode support
- Dual programmable UARTs (universal asynchronous/synchonic receiver/transmitter) - 1 available for customer use
- Debug module interface connector (used with source level debuggers running on PC's)
- Serial cable (gives access to ROM monitor which includes in-line assembler)
- All CPU signals available via two 120-pin expansion connectors
- Small form factor
- Power Requirements are +5 to +14 Volts DC regulated or unregulated (on board regulation to +3.3 V DC)
