The M5249C3 evaluation board provides an excellent vehicle for embarking on a high-performance embedded design. With 8 MBytes of SDRAM, 2 MBytes of Flash, 10/100 BaseT ethernet connectivity, two serial ports, and access to the best-in-class ColdFire debug module. This complete package includes all the components for realizing an MCF5249 design quickly and easily.

- MCF5249 running at 140 MHz, internal bus speed of 70 MHz
- Monitor/Debugger programmed on 2 MByte of Flash with 1.8 MBytes available for customer use
- On-board 10/100 BaseT ethernet conectivity via RJ-45 connector
- 4 channel DMA
- Dual programmable UARTs (universal asynchronous/synchronous receiver/transmitter) - 1 available for customer use
- Debug module interface connector (used with source level debuggers running on PC's)
- Serial cable (give access to ROM monitor which includes in-line assembler)
- All CPU signals available for user accessibility via two 120-pin expansion connectors
- Small form factor
- Power Requirements are +7 to +14 Volts DC regulated or unregulated (on board regulation to +5V, +3.3V, and +1.8V DC)
