This DEMONSTRATION KIT features the MC34940 e-field sensing device that is intended for applications where non-contact sensing of objects is desired. It contains circuitry necessary to generate a low-level electric field and measure the field loading caused by objects moving into the field. The kit allows for designers to easily evaluate the MC34940 in any application. The connector offers access to all electrodes, enabling you to connect your own touch pad design or any other electrode arrangement of your choosing.
