The 56F802X, a member of the 56F8000 product series, combines the processing power of a DSP and the functionality of a microcontroller with a flexible set of peripherals on a single chip to create a cost-effective and compact solution. The 56F802X provides high-performance pulse-width modulation (up to 96 MHz), highly accurate analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a wide peripheral offering (IIC, QSCI, QSPI), efficient integration of components (ADC, DAC, analog comparator) and a high-density GPIO. The 56F802X’s peripherals are especially useful for industrial lighting and motor control, home appliances, general-purpose inverters, smart sensors, fire and security systems, switched-mode power supply, power management and medical/healthcare monitoring applications.
