Freescale has been present in Brazil since 1967 with the Sales and Application Support team located in São Paulo city. We have today 18 people supporting the major business groups.

In 1997 with the goal of increasing its presence in Latin America, the Brazil Semiconductor Technology Center (BSTC) started operating in Jaguariúna, São Paulo, with a mission of becoming a center of excellence in the development of Microcontroller and Analog/Mixed-Signal IP and SoC. In less than a decade, BSTC has grown to a team of 130+ engineers and delivered over 70 designs.
