Shipment Packaging

To confirm that our packaging is compliant to European Parliament and Council Directive 94/62/EC of 20 December 1994 on packaging and packaging waste, Freescale requires suppliers to provide the extent to which any materials provided to Freescale contain any of the restricted substances per the Packaging Directive. Additionally, Freescale requires all suppliers to certify the packaging content data for the material that they or their subcontractors provide to Freescale.

Additional Shipment Packaging Information

• Freescale does not use packaging containing ozone depleting substances.
• Freescale does not use packaging containing polyurethane (PUR) foam.
• Freescale supports the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) initiatives for wood packaging in international trade. Freescale uses only heat or methyl bromide treated wood pallets and crates for customer and internal shipments to locations that require compliance to ISPM # 15 Guidelines For Regulating Wood Packaging Material In International Trade.
