FTF Design Challenge

Make your innovative green design the star of FTF 2008.
In February, registration for the FTF Design Challenge Japan opened. The challenge was open to embedded designers in Japan. In May, Freescale selected five finalists out of the 13 designs that were submitted. The top five finalists attended FTF Japan to showcase their prototypes. Conference attendees and challenge participants voted on the first- and second- place winners and runners-up. Here they are:

Win a seat in the Grand FTF Design Challenge

The 1st place winners of each 2008 FTF will have a chance to win an additional $50,000 USD, attend the 2009 FTF of their choice and showcase their winning prototype.

1st Prize: $10,000 USD

2nd Prize: $5,000 USD

3rd, 4th and 5th Place Runner-ups: Prize valued at $1,000 USD

Five Finalists: $1,000 USD each to build prototypes and a trip to FTF
