Make your innovative green design the star of FTF 2008.
In October of 2007, registration for the FTF Design Challenge Americas opened. The challenge was open to embedded designers in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Columbia, Mexico and the U.S. In February, Freescale selected 10 finalists out of the 65 designs that were submitted. The top five finalists attended FTF Americas to showcase their prototypes. Conference attendees voted on the first-, second- and third-place winners. See the winning prototypes below:
“It is very exciting to see so much creativity unleashed by the Freescale Technology Forum Design Challenge. We already have 80 – 90 percent of the technology necessary to create a vibrant economy that’s also in harmony with the environment. Freescale’s series of green design contests is helping champion the development of those last important pieces of the sustainability puzzle. Programs like this will help us find the technologies, applications and markets where electronics can help build a more sustainable, prosperous, and more hopeful future for our grandkids.”
