i.MX35 for Automotive

Today's automobiles are becoming media rooms on wheels. Infotainment systems have changed the meaning of "road trip," providing assistance via integrated telematics or GPS-based navigation systems and entertainment with wireless connectivity to cell phones, portable media players and laptops. Add speech recognition, and you have the ability to control these devices without taking your eyes off the road or hands off the wheel. The i.MX35 applications processor is a Freescale Energy-Efficient Solutions product.

  • i.MX351 - Targeted for automotive including automotive audio and audio connectivity.
  • i.MX355 - Same as i.MX351 with the addition of an advanced Image Processing Unit (IPU).
  • i.MX356 - Same as i.MX351 & i.MX355 including the connectivity and IPU with the addition of an OpenVG 1.1 2.5D hardware accelerator.

i.MX35 for Consumer and Industrial

Freescale's ARM11™-based i.MX35 processor family provides the perfect balance of performance, power consumption, connectivity, and media capabilities necessary to drive today's multimedia applications. The i.MX35 processor serves a broad range of consumer, industrial and general purpose embedded applications. The i.MX35 applications processor is a Freescale Energy-Efficient Solutions product.

  • i.MX353 - Targeted for consumer and industrial applications, packed with multiple connectivity options.
  • i.MX357 - Offers graphics support for more sophisticated user interfaces for high end applications with an OpenVG 1.1 hardware accelerator.
