Tower Throwdown Design Challenge

FTF Americas 2010 attendees put their development skills to the test for the Tower Throwdown Design Challenge, using Freescale's Tower development system, CodeWarrior and MQX Software Solutions.

Participants had just 36 hours to develop and submit a unique design for judging onsite at FTF. Entries were judged on application innovation and creativity as well as their ability to integrate different elements of the tool kit provided.

  • Grand Prize: Tom Moulton from FACTS Engineering
  • Second Place: Mark de Smet and Charlie Powe from Motorola
  • Third Place: Christian Tovar from RM Security and Gabriel Zapata from Identica
