Community Involvement

At Freescale Semiconductor, we support our communities with our time and resources. We are committed to being a leader in corporate citizenship by partnering with community organizations to make a positive impact. The primary mission of our community relations program is to leverage our global resources and diverse talent to enhance educational opportunities, support health and human services and respect the environment in communities where we live and work.

Education

• Focus on kindergarten through grade 12 science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)

• Enable student participation in math and science programs
• Provide mentors and tutors for middle and high schools
• Equip learning labs and provide school supplies

The Environment

• Attend to and invest in environment, health and safety programs
• Support environmental protection and restoration initiatives in public parks and lands
• Align community support with sustainable solutions

Health and Human Services

• Sponsor programs that raise awareness and funds to eradicate disabilities and disease
• Partner with organizations committed to reducing systemic violence and/or neglect
• Support local and global outreach programs to meet basic needs across the community
