About Freescale Semiconductor Hong Kong Limited

In 1967, we first set foot in Hong Kong with a semiconductor sales office of two. Today, there are over hundred of Freescale employees serving key OEM and distribution customers in the city, Taiwan and neighboring southern China locations.

With its low tax rate and efficient logistic systems, Hong Kong plays a key role for logistic warehousing to support China and the north Asia region.

The operation also has a long history of contributions and innovations which include many advanced networking applications and the award-winning DragonBall chip which defined the PDA market. Most recently, the team led design efforts for the KA MCU family and LED backlight systems. Both projects have been generating sales and rave reviews.
