Freescale Semiconductor continues to add to its new line of Xtrinsic sensing solutions which started with the Xtrinsic Motion Sensing Platform MMA9550L and the Xtrinsic Touch Sensing Software Suite 2.0 for 8-bit to 32-bit MCUs. Freescale is now introducing the MEMS-based MMA5xxxW satellite accelerometers and the MMA68xxQ Airbag Sensor for the main ECU in its new line of Xtrinsic sensing products. The Xtrinsic portfolio offers designers sensing solutions with the right combination of intelligent integration, logic and customizable software to help deliver smarter, more differentiated applications.
