    QorIQ T4240/T4160 Virtual Core Communications Processors

    Our QorIQ T4 product family includes the flagship T4240 and T4160 virtual core communications processors. These devices are extremely fast and perfectly balanced and are ideal for data center, mil/aero, gateway, datacom/telecom and wireless infrastructure applications. The devices offer an increase in system power efficiency by 2x using advanced 28 nm process technology. An AltiVec engine is also included on the devices - allowing DSP-like functionality such as sonar, radar and image processing and video processing.
