Freescale provides robust, reliable high-performance analog mixed-signal and power solutions that bridge real world signals with connected processor intelligence enabling complete embedded system solutions. Our proprietary SMARTMOS mixed-signal process allows high-density logic to co-exist with both analog and power functions.
Products include power management, battery management, system management and automation, power drivers and power analog switches. Our products enable longer battery life, smaller form factor, component count reduction, ease of design, lower system cost and improved performance in powering state of the art systems for a wide variety of automotive, consumer, industrial and small engine products.
Freescale introduces increased bandwidth, robustness and energy savings with the latest MC34901 and MC33901 CAN FD high-speed physical layer products. These products are compliant with CAN FD 2M. The MC34901 and MC33901 also exceed industry standard emission performance and power consumption.
Freescale analog solutions are robustly designed for the growing industrial automation market. We can help you make the conversion from mechanical to electronic safety systems today.
The Freescale-McLaren engine control unit (ECU) has powered more than one million fuel-injected miles of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ racing without a single ECU failure. Virtually no other sport tests the performance and reliability of a product harder than NASCAR®. Extreme heat. Vibration. Five hundred miles of racing at 200 mph. NASCAR trusts Freescale to get the job done.
The MC33813 and MC33814 consist of multiple integrated low side drivers and pre-drivers, a VRS input circuit, a voltage pre-regulator using an external pass transistor and two 5 volt internal regulators, one for the MCU VCC supply and the other for use as a protected sensor supply. Also included is an MCU reset control circuit with watchdog, an ISO 9141 K-Line interface for Diagnostic communication and a SPI interface. The devices are packaged in a 48 pin LQFP-EP package.
