The MC33813 and MC33814 consist of multiple integrated low side drivers and pre-drivers, a VRS input circuit, a voltage pre-regulator using an external pass transistor and two 5 volt internal regulators, one for the MCU VCC supply and the other for use as a protected sensor supply. Also included is an MCU reset control circuit with watchdog, an ISO 9141 K-Line interface for Diagnostic communication and a SPI interface. The devices are packaged in a 48 pin LQFP-EP package.
The new Xtrinsic battery sensor MM9Z1_638 is the industry´s first CAN-based battery sensor that accurately measures the voltage, current and temperature of lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, as well as calculating the battery state. Accurate knowledge of these battery parameters in harsh automotive conditions has become critical due to the increase in hybrid vehicles and overall electronic content, as well as start-stop systems in automobiles.
Freescale´s family of eXtreme Switches are the first intelligent, multi-purpose, dual-side switches with broad protection against harsh 24V environments. This unique solution is ideal for designers of 24V truck bus and specialty vehicle applications requiring increased integration, flexibility and durability. Devices feature current capability ranging from 1 to 12A DC and are fully footprint- and software-compatible.
