Environmentally Preferred Products
The Freescale Environmentally Preferred Products program addresses sustainable products. The global, cross-functional EPP efforts focus on customer and regulatory requirements for the management of hazardous substances in products.
The EPP team oversees corporate compliance procedures for:
- End of Life Vehicle Directive in the European Union (ELV)
- Restriction of Hazardous Substances in the European Union and China (RoHS)
- Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH)
and EPP coordinates the collection of data pertaining to the RoHS Certificate of Analysis (CoA) and Material Composition Declaration (MCD) for finished goods.
