A hospital admission machine is an acquisition system that assesses the health of a person to increase efficiency through automation and administration procedures. It registers a patient’s glucose, ECG, temperature, weight, height, spirometry, heart rate and blood pressure. The patient is guided through a step-by-step video to learn how to perform the tests. Patient parameters are transmitted using the desired connectivity. The touch interface is added using Freescale touch-sensing software libraries to easily disinfect the surfaces of the device.
