What is the Freescale Technology Forum?
Developed with the embedded engineer in mind, the Freescale Technology Forum (FTF) features one of the most comprehensive embedded ecosystems in the industry. FTF 2014 will help you shape the future of embedded design by providing opportunities to learn, share and connect with experts across the entire Freescale Ecosystem. The forum, which drives innovation and collaboration, has been enthusiastically received by the global developer community, drawing nearly 60,000 attendees worldwide since its inception in 2005. When and where is the Freescale Technology Forum?
FTF is a global event hosted in the United States, India, China and Japan. Our flagship event, FTF Americas, will be held April 8-11, 2014 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. Visit freescale.com/ftf for more information, including global dates and locations.

Who attends the Freescale Technology Forum?
FTF is where embedded professionals come together to get the best technical training in the industry, receive help with their design, find their next big idea, and expand their network. What is the dress code?
The recommended dress code is business casual or professional attire for all events and activities.

Will I get technical training?
Yes. Highly technical sessions are at the core of the FTF curriculum, providing detailed information on products and technologies from Freescale and industry experts. FTF 2014 offers more than 400 hours of technical sessions, including lectures, panels and hands-on labs covering the latest embedded products and tools from Freescale and our ecosystem partners. What are the opportunities for hands-on learning?
FTF Americas offers several hands-on workshop sessions focusing on Freescale's latest hardware and software that attendees can touch, feel and experiment with. Class sizes are limited to 30 people and are typically two to four hours in length. Pre-registration is highly encouraged through the session scheduler, which will be available in January 2014. If you register before January you will receive an email at the beginning of the year with a direct link to schedule your sessions, including hands-on workshops. If the class is full at the time of your selection, you will be placed on a wait list. Visit our session catalog page to get more information on what will be offered.

What will I see in the technology lab?
The FTF technology lab offers access to over 250 product and technology demonstrations from Freescale and its partners. Whether you are looking to interact with the latest solutions, receive help with your design, find your next big idea, or expand your network, the technology lab is an engineers’ playground. The technology lab will also feature the Freescale Cup student races and the Make it Challenge design contest.

What is the registration fee?

What is included in my registration fee?
Registration includes admission to all general and breakout sessions, hands-on workshops, the technology lab and evening activities. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, as well as reception fare in the technology lab each evening.

Does the registration fee include air transportation and hotel accommodations?
All air transportation and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee. More information to help you plan your trip can be found below and on our travel and location information page.

What types of payments are accepted for the conference fee?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
Registration confirmations will be emailed within a week of your approved submission. The email will contain a unique confirmation number that may be used to update your registration information.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations may be made by contacting us at FTFSupport@GetRegisteredNow.com or by calling 1-800-580-9884. If you must cancel your registration, please do so by 5:00 p.m. CST on March 21, 2014 for a refund. Any cancellation occurring after this time will be subject to a $100 processing fee. All cancellations will be processed within one month following the event. No-shows will be charged the full conference fee.

What is the closest airport?
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is only 6 minutes from the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center and is located half-way between Dallas and Fort Worth. Where do I stay?
Freescale has secured a special rate of $203/night at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention, where FTF Americas will be held. More information can be found on our travel and location information page.

Hotel reservations must be made through our online registration system. Registrants will receive a separate hotel confirmation email after they reserve a room during the registration process. If you need to cancel your hotel reservation you must notify the hotel 72 hours prior to midnight the day of your arrival to avoid a charge equal to one night's room and tax. Cancellations made on or before April 2, 2014, should be made through the Freescale Technology Forum Housing Bureau: email FTFSupport@GetRegisteredNow.com or call 1-800-580-9884 or 1-512-497-8534.
