Low-power capacitive touch sensor added to plug-and-play Sensor Toolbox

New 300 KHz boost switching frequency LED driver

A new device has been added to our MC34845 six-channel LED driver family. The MC34845 series represents a high efficiency, LED driver for use in backlighting LCD displays from 10’’ to 17’’+. Operating from supplies of 5.0V to 21V, the MC34845 series is capable of driving up to 16 LEDs in series in each of six strings. The LED current tolerance in the six strings is within +/- two percent and is set using a resistor to GND. Learn more »

The MPR121 ultra-low-power capacitive touch sensor provides 12 electrodes with an intelligent, flexible independent calibration feature to simplify designing numerous touch applications for portable low-power electronic products.

The touch sensing software (TSS) suite is compatible with more than 300 of our 8-bit microcontrollers, enabling any 8-bit S08 MCU as a touch sensor, providing cost effective and flexible solutions for human-machine interfaces (HMIs).
