New MC34825 micro-USB interface IC for smaller, sleeker consumer device design

The MC34825 micro-USB interface IC enables audio, data and charging using a single connector, shrinking the board size and enabling more compact handheld devices, including cell phones, portable media players, portable navigation devices, digital voice recorders, handheld cameras and camcorders. The MC34825 is designed to identify up to 32 different accessory types such as headsets, microphones and chargers with different auxiliary components. The device also offers a Universal Charging Solution (UCS) recommended by the Open Mobile Terminal Platform (OMTP) to allow multiple chargers to be used with the device. Get the details »
