Freescale offers designers a broad portfolio of touch-sensing solutions providing the best fit for HMI designs. Touch-sensing technology can reliably replace mechanical buttons and switches to eliminate mechanical wear and tear. Freescale's fourth generation Touch-Sensing Software Suite (TSS) 3.0, is an innovative touch-sensing software that adds value to targeted Freescale silicon. The free downloading software, in addition to its previous version TSS 2.5, now supports a larger MCU portfolio including the new HCS08 PT family and two new 90nm families: ARM®Cortex-M4 Kinetis MCUs and ColdFire+.
