DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE
Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector, as part
of the continuous
improvement program, will be changing the
shipping carrier tape for
devices in FCC-BGA 360(25x25) package. The
chamferred tape pocket
design will be eliminated to prevent part
jamming during the pick &
place process in customers production. The basic
non-chamferred
carrier tape pocket design will be used.
This change does not affect the form, fit, or
function of the
product. There are no critical dimension change
to the carrier tape
such as pitch to pitch distance between the
pockets.
NOTE: The non-chamferred carrier tape will be
introduced with the
effective of this notification.
Current chamferred carrier tape (part number:
BG2525-AC47.OP2) will
be replaced by new non-chamferred carrier tape
(part number:
BG2525-BC47.OP2)
