Freescale pressure sensors are MEMS-based and are available with several pressure range and package options. Pressure ranges include 4 kPa to 1000 kPa or 0.5 PSI to 30 PSI. Packaging options include the Super Small Outline Package (SSOP), the Small Outline Package (SOP) and the Mini-Package (MPak). Freescale's line of pressure sensors offers flexible design options and enhanced features for altimeter/barometer weather stations, water level monitoring for appliances, and blood pressure monitoring, as well as automotive applications such as engine control and tire pressure monitoring.
