Past Challenge Winners

  • The myolectric hand prosthesis uses a Freescale 8-bit MCU and was designed with comfort, functionality and cost in mind. It could affect any of the tens of thousands of people around the world in developing countries that lose a hand each year. Winning the Freescale Black Widow Design Challenge has allowed us to realistically pursue a commercial prototype.
