The new Xtrinsic battery sensor MM9Z1_638 is the industry´s first CAN-based battery sensor that accurately measures the voltage, current and temperature of lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, as well as calculating the battery state. Accurate knowledge of these battery parameters in harsh automotive conditions has become critical due to the increase in hybrid vehicles and overall electronic content, as well as start-stop systems in automobiles.
