Austin, Texas

Austin continuously receives recognition as a city that offers an enriched quality of life and a dynamic high-tech economy.

For more than 30 years, the semiconductor industry has been an integral part of the technology development in Austin. Austin is home to Freescale's corporate office, research and development, manufacturing and two of our business units.

Chandler, Arizona

Chandler continues to invest significant resources in technology and has welcomed high tech companies to its business community for many years. Voted one of Money Magazine's "100 Best Places to Live" and named one of the "5 Great Places to Live" (and retire) by AARP, Chandler has been an additional home, along with Tempe, to Freescale in Arizona for many years. The Chandler site is home to a wafer manufacturing fab as well as multiple Freescale business units.

Tempe, Arizona

Tempe holds the highest concentration of high technology firms in Arizona. While the Tempe area represents four percent of the state's population, more than 15 percent of Arizona's high-tech companies are located here.
